WHAT  to  DO

Gerola Alta at  1000 mt. is our nearest village and the most important.

Here you will find our magestic church od Saint Bartolomeo of the XVIII century, food shop, post office and sport fields, also tennis court and five-a-side football.                                  During the winter we create an ice skating ring.

Gerola Alta every third sunday in September hosts the "Sagra del Bitto Cheese" which is still made in the pastures of the mountains top.

Pescegallo situated at 1450 mt. is the last village you can reach by car.

Here is the starting point to visit the 7 alpine lakes in the mountain range.

The chair lift takes you to 1850 mt. for  summer walking and to ski in the winter months. From 1850 mt. to 2000 mt. a drag-lift is in use and from the top of Salmurano you will start skiing on the blue runs, at the bottom of which on the left starts the red run and the black run on you right. Both will take you to the statingf point of the chair-lift. From there now you can ski for another mile through the woods as far as the Hotel.

Pescegallo is also the starting point for off piste alpine skiing.
